The OASIS project is at the interface between facilities, research projects and product development. In this manner, the previous large investments in biophotonics will be more accessible to SME to allow a competitive advantage in new products development and validation.
On 19th of March, 2014 a first consortium meeting of an OASIS project took place after the project kick-off in December 2013. The meeting took place at the Laser Optics Berlin trade fair.
The project is a consortium of Partners from 7 different countries: France, UK, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Italy, Spain. 9 Photonic Clusters from these countries involved in initiatives supporting Biophotonics at the regional or national level define the OASIS Support Action.
Project team reviewed the progress of the project and planned further activities during the meeting. Coming months look very promising for European SMEs that are involved in Bio and Agrifood sector in photonics.
In the framework of this project, several OASIS events will be organized, such as webinars and workshops between European SMEs and research facilities.
The details about the webinar and workshop will be announced soon.
